The Hungry Pelican opened in 2018 next to the Mel Rieman Campground on Lake Ashtabula. Owned and operated by the Peltier Family. Since this area of the lake has the dam, this Hungry Pelican is known as the Dam Hungry Pelican and is open in summers only.
The resort has delicious Caribbean style drinks, a convenience store and fishing supplies. The Dam location has a very popular ice cream bar with 17 delicious flavors to choose from and deliciou pizzas.
